Hi, I'm Breonté. Artist formerly known as Breonté Jaron. Well, my real name is Breonté Jaron Boyd. BJ rolls off the tongue better. The basics?  I was born on September 17th, 1992, in Charlotte, NC. That makes me a Virgo Sun, Taurus Moon, and Sagittarius Rising...if you're into all of that. The fun stuff? Well, as we already know, I am an artist. To define my artistry, I create whatever it is that wants to come out of my mind. That is, with whatever medium. You know one that I would love to try out? Glassblowing. But anyways, as I've gone on this journey called life, I have expressed myself through many facets. I've been on choirs. I've been on dance teams. I have entered my art in contests. I have won..some. I have even done mini mural projects. I can't count how many vendor events that I have done. I've made household items. I've painted shoes. I can go on and on. The main though? Painting. I made sure to have an art class every year in grade school. It's something beautiful about my thoughts and ideas turned into masterpieces. Even when you have no idea where the journey is taking you. Crafting is something I really enjoy doing as well. From household knick-knacks to Christmas ornaments. I told you, I do a lot. Which is what you'll see within Beautiful Catastrophe. 

 

Why Beautiful Catastrophe? Ever since I was in high school, I had a dream of an empire. One big multi-universe for everything that I do. Beautiful Catastrophe is the world of art, fashion, and music through the lens of Breonté Jaron. Being an artist is being a creative. You create whatever your heart tells you to. For me, I am all over the place. I can't even say what my why art would classify as. I would always say its cartoon-avant-garde-abstract-weird-s***. One big world of catastrophe. I blame my ADHD. More importantly though, my art always comes out in the best of ways. Those ways create beauty. Not only is this beauty that represents me, it's beauty that I can share with the world. Because, why not?
